Several years ago when I sat in a chilly pew on Ash Wednesday I flipped open the bible laying on the bench beside me:
But go ye rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. Matt 10:6
At that time I was unsure of my direction having felt the call to priesthood but that moment and the Spirit’s intervention has remained with me.
For family reasons and nothing else Loraine and I expect to be moving to Red Deer, Alberta to be away from an extraordinary stress here that is affecting us both to a breaking point. This will probably take place sometime in November.
My step-daughter and her family live there as well I have numerous cousins on my mother’s side and my step-father’s.
But we are leaving a family we only recently found, those who worship at the ANiC Church of the Resurrection and you will all be sorely missed.
I feel very honored to have been a small part of this great new adventure and we doubt that we will ever experience a family like this again.
It would be unfair to single anyone person out but Bishop Malcolm Harding has been a life altering experience
Mark 1:16-20 “As Jesus walked beside the Sea of Galilee, he saw Simon and his brother Andrew casting a net into the lake, for they were fishermen. ‘Come, follow me,’ Jesus said, ‘and I will make you fishers of men.’ At once they left their nets and followed him. When he had gone a little further, he saw James son of Zebedee and his brother John in a boat, preparing their nets. Without delay he called them, and they left their father Zebedee in the boat with the hired men and followed him.”
I can understand Christ’s Call because +Malcolm called me to put aside my nets too!
All whom +Malcolm has touched are truly blessed and he will be greatly missed when we reach our new home. So will you all!
But we have the internet and I have every intention of completing my studies.
God bless you all, Steve & Loraine Lenaghan

We are really going to miss both Steve and Loriane. They have become part of our church family and have given so much of themselves. They are truly one of the most giving couples we have ever met. Our prayers go with them and we will certainly keep track of them through the internet.
God bless and keep you.
All I can say is “Boo Hoo”. In the short time you have been in the church family we feel like we have lost a brother and sister. You will always be a part of your church family, our prayers and love go with you.
Love and Gods blessing
I was so sorry to hear that Steve and Loraine are leaving Brandon. They are such a wonderful couple.
They show God’s love in their life, and spread it around. They will be missed very much.
