Bishop’s wives attend Sunday Service

Bernadette Njegovan was our guest for services this morning.  Marylou as usual was in the front guiding the overhead, so today we had Bishop’s wives, plural.  We welcome all to experience Christ with us.

    It was a surprise to see her, but everyone graciously welcomed Bernadette. We hope she genuinely felt that welcome. I don’t think you meant that Marylou was a guest as she is family but what you meant was that two wives of bishops were present :)

    We too welcome all to experience Christ with us in our parishes. It’s a good thing. I think it is what we are all about !
    I understand a few of your congregation were at St. George’s this morning for confirmation .
    I hope they felt welcome !

    I agree Bernadette. In any christian church visitors should have a first hand encouter with Christ. To do that we must not make the Gospel fit into the world. As followers we show the world how to fit into the Gospel. We do not take anything out nor do we change any wording. Ever!
